Thousands of young Nepali girls get trafficked to other countries and the ones who are uneducated and are financially dependent on others are the ones who are most vulnerable. So minimize that risk GPI helps form Awareness Groups where we regularly talk about the risks of being trafficked. They are taught how to identify the risks and the traffickers so they can avoid them. They are also encouraged to support one another.

GPI also conducts income generating and capacity building trainings like poultry farming, hair cutting and make up trainings by which women get a chance to make a living for themselves and their families.
