AIDS awareness program of GWP was started since 1992 and it has been very successful program of GWP. Currently more than 50 staffs work full time at GWP to perform AIDS awareness in the highways of Nepal. GWP has worked with FHI/USAID, Heidelberg University, Save the Children, and other international NGOs to make people aware about the threat of HIV/AIDS. It is working with female sex worker, factory workers, police force, truck drivers, school students, college students to perform various awareness activities.
